As our organisation continues to grow, we are now seeking a leader in IT Infrastructure Management to help drive the development of both our TriConnex & eSmart Networks businesses, providing hands on senior level support, guidance and expertise in delivery of IT service, projects, roadmaps, and decision making.

So, what will I be doing?

Supporting the Head of IT, the will role include senior stakeholder management, leading and providing guidance to team members as required. The role also extends to management of key external venders with demonstrable communication, cyber security, and risk management skills.

This is the ideal role for someone who has the experience and capabilities in strategic thinking but also knowledge of the latest developments in IT systems technology. You will be innovative in your approach, looking for ways to simplify, rationalise and continually improve service delivery.

On a day-2-day basis, you will be undertaking, but not limited to, the following duties:

Providing guidance and mentoring of junior staff to evolve the Service Desk capability.
Support the enforcement of IT polices and processes within the support teams and businesses.
Lead input to strategy to support future computing requirements against business needs and objectives.
Understand application, network and system capabilities and produce infrastructure designs that meet business requirements.
Ensure the creation and updating of all system documentation.
Manage and assist with budget creation and reporting.
Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, and service provision.

What we are looking for:
You will have a proven background at a similar role, with experience in the development and successful delivery of IT systems projects. You will also have:

Strong hands-on experience in design, deployment, integration, and operational management of IT infrastructure for both internal platforms, networks and IAAS, ensuring appropriate security measures are designed and implemented across all platforms.
Extensive knowledge of Cloud Computing, IAAS, Windows server, Windows 10/11, Virtual servers, AD and o365.
Knowledge of Software and Hardware/peripherals
Demonstrable understanding of networking in shared/complex environments.
Knowledge and awareness of continuous improvement within existing and new processes
